New location

The National University Heart Centre, Singapore (NUHCS) has been relocated since April 2011 to better serve our growing number of patients.

We are now located at Levels 1 and 3 of the Main Building.

Please find out about our new facilities here.

New Coronary Care Unit (CCU) Ward

Our CCU is the oldest ICU ward facility in NUH since its setup in 1997. The current CCU ward consists of 12 High Dependency (HD) beds and 6 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds, and it is no longer sufficient due to our increased patient volume.

With the new relocation, expansion and renovation, there will be an additional 2 ICU beds and 4 HD beds.

Set-up of the Invasive Procedure Recovery (IPR) and minor renovation of the Angiography Centre

Our current IPR consists of 6 beds and 1 recliner which is insufficient to cope with the daily patient volume at our Angiography Centre. The new IPR is planned with the goal of a one-stop centre to provide improved patient care and hostlistic management of patients.
