Dr Teo Swee Guan is currently a Senior Consultant and the Director of the Coronary Care Unit at the National University Heart Centre, Singapore in National University Hospital. He also holds the appointment of Clinical Tutor at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in National University of Singapore.  

 

 Dr Teo graduated from The University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia in 1996 and had his basic medical training in UK between 1997 and 2000. He started advanced specialist training in Cardiology at The National University Hospital, Singapore in 2001 and became a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore (Singapore) in 2004.

 

He undertook clinical fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology in Helios Heart Center, Germany in 2006 and in Vascular Medicine in Cleveland Clinic, USA in 2007

 

His interests include interventional cardiology, peripheral vascular intervention including lower limbs, carotid and renal arteries, and venous thromboembolism.
