Dr Jackie Chiu is practicing as an Associate Consultant at the National University Heart Centre, Singapore (NUHCS) at the National University Hospital (NUH) at Kent Ridge.
He graduated from King's College London with a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery in 2018 with Distinctions in Medical Sciences and Clinical Practice. He obtained his Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (London, UK) in 2021, and his Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine) from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2022. He then went on to complete his Cardiology residency with the National University Heart Centre, Singapore in 2026.
During his residency, Dr Jackie Chiu was highly involved in clinical education and administrative work. He was selected for the prestigious NUH Residency Leadership Development Programme and served as the Chief Resident of Cardiology in 2024. He was also elected to be part of the NUH Graduate Medical Education Committee in 2024 and 2025, and is actively involved as an ongoing core faculty member for Undergraduate Education at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. He is also on the highly selective Medical Education Distinction Track to further his skills as a medical educator.
Dr Jackie Chiu is also an avid clinician with proficiency in tackling complex cases across all Cardiology subspecialties in the Cardiac Critical Care Unit, with special interests in advanced heart failure, cardiogenic shock and mechanical circulatory support. He also has varied secondary interests in cardiac imaging including echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.
