Biosketch

Dr Vinay Bahadur Panday is presently an Associate Consultant with the Department of Cardiology, National University Heart Centre, Singpore (NUHCS). 

Dr Vinay graduated with Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2016. He completed his junior residency training in Internal Medicine and was conferred the Master of Medicine in Internal Medicine from NUS, and the Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (United Kingdom) in 2021. During his junior residency, Dr Vinay was awarded the Residency Excellence award in 2018. He also underwent and graduated from the Quality Improvement Distinction Programme. Thereafter, Dr Vinay underwent senior residency training in Cardiology at NUHCS and was appointed as an Associate Consultant in 2025. 

During his time in residency, Dr Vinay was actively engaged in numerous academic projects and his research findings have been published in reputable peer-reviewed journals. Dr Vinay has also presented his work at both local and international cardiology conferences.

Currently, Dr Vinay serves as an Associate Consultant in NUHCS (Kent Ridge Campus) and Jurong Medical Centre. His clinical interests are in Preventive Cardiology, particularly in areas focusing on community-specialist integration and optimising health care delivery. He has a secondary interest in cardiac imaging in the fields of echocardiography and CT coronary angiogram.
