Biosketch

Assistant Professor Tan Li Ling is presently a Senior Consultant at the National University Heart Centre, Singapore (NUHCS). She graduated from St. Bartholomew's and the Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry, University of London (UK). She was subsequently conferred the Master of Medicine in Internal Medicine from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (UK). Thereafter, she completed her Cardiology training at NUHCS.

In addition to General Cardiology and Echocardiography, Asst. Prof. Tan's other specialty interest includes Cardio-Oncology for which she was awarded the Healthcare Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) and underwent advanced fellowship training at the Royal Brompton Hospital (London, UK) with aims to improve the heart health of cancer patients and survivors. She is currently serving as the Clinical Lead of Cardio-oncology Service, Department of Cardiology, NUHCS.

Asst. Prof. Tan is also active in medical education and clinical research. She holds the appointment of Assistant Professor with the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS, and is a core faculty member of the NUHCS Cardiology Senior Residency Program.
