Biosketch

Dr Li Yue is a Consultant in the Division of Thoracic Surgery, Department of Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular Surgery (CTVS) at the National University Heart Centre, Singapore (NUHCS).

Dr Li Yue obtained his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in 2010 from the 8-year clinical medicine program in Peking Union Medical College (北京协和医学院), Tsinghua University (清华大学) in Beijing, China. He completed his cadiothoracic residency training in 2020 from National University Health System (NUHS), Singapore. He was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2021. He was accredited by the Specialists Accreditation Board as a specialist in cardiothoracic surgery by the Ministry of Health of Singapore. His main interest is in minimally invasive lung and mediastinal surgery, including uniportal VATS and Robotic approach, Thymectomy for myasthenia gravis and thymoma, surgery for chest wall tumor or trauma, congenital chest wall deformity correction surgery, Thoracoscopic sympathectomy for hyperhidrosis or sweaty palms.
