As National University Heart Centre, Singapore (NUHCS) celebrates its 10th Anniversary, 400 staff members gathered together on 23 November 2018 for an unforgettable night of fun and camaraderie with a Thanksgiving dinner at Hilton Singapore.

​The night commenced with cocktails, mingling, and superb photo booth opportunities. It was heartwarming to see staff from NUHCS, Ng Teng Fong General Hospital’s cardiology team and our visiting consultants. Everyone was dressed to the nines for the theme of Oscar Night.

The dinner segment opened with a dramatic entrance of Taiko drumming led by Prof. Tan Huay Cheem, Director, NUHCS, together with our senior leaders. They then joined in a cake cutting and champagne toast together with our VIPs and senior leaders of National University Health System.

During the opening speech, Prof. Tan spoke about the inauguration of NUHCS 10 years ago, our achievements thus far, and a tribute to the late Prof. Chia Boon Lock, which garnered much applause.

The night was filled with exciting game segments and staff performances from our cardiac nurses and cardiology senior residents; a roaring and energetic best-dressed competition; and a grand lucky draw. The event was a true celebration of NUHCS’s milestones over the last 10 years. To many more years of success together!
